About Tyma
Know on Tuesday whether Friday will happen
Tyma is a calendar for people who plan with other people. Before you ask someone for a piece of work, it shows how much time they have before it’s due — without ever showing you what’s on their calendar.
Why we built it
Work rarely slips because people don’t care
It slips because the week was already full when the work was handed out, and nobody could see it. A request arrives on Tuesday for Friday; the person asked says yes because saying no feels worse; and on Friday everyone finds out together.
The usual fixes make it worse. Shared calendars show everybody everything, so people hide their real week. Workload dashboards rank colleagues against each other, so people stop trusting the tool. We wanted the one number that matters — how much time someone actually has before a deadline — shown at the moment of asking, and nothing more.
So that is what Tyma does. It starts as your own calendar, worth using on its own, and grows into how a team asks each other for time.
What we hold to
Six promises the product keeps
Not aspirations — each one is how Tyma already behaves.
Your calendar is yours
Colleagues see how much time you have before a deadline, and how much is already taken. Never what your events are, and never a table comparing you with anyone.
We read, we never write
Tyma brings your Google Calendar in and never changes it. If you ask, it keeps one calendar of its own in your account, and that is the only one it touches.
Nothing lands without a yes
Work someone asks you for arrives as a request. You accept it, decline with a reason, or propose a later day — it reaches your calendar only when you agree.
The AI suggests, people decide
Where Tyma uses AI, it proposes: a time, a wording, the asks in a meeting's notes. Every change still goes through you, and every time it offers comes from your real calendar.
Built for everyone
Plain words, large enough to read, and a phone that works as well as a desk. It installs to your home screen and still shows your day without a connection.
Your data stays yours
